Pool equipment repair, diagnosed properly

Pumps, filters, heaters, lighting and automation. We work out what has actually failed before quoting parts, because on pool equipment the obvious answer is often the wrong one.

What we repair and install

Diagnose first, quote second

Equipment repair is where a pool owner is most exposed to being sold something they do not need. A pump that will not prime might be a failed pump, or it might be air getting in somewhere else entirely, and those have very different price tags.

So we diagnose first and quote second. If the honest answer is that the part is fine and something else is wrong, that is the answer you get.

Honest advice

His willingness to do more than he says he will is refreshing.

Once we found All Aquatic Pools, we have never had a reason to go anywhere else. Andrew and his crews always do good work at a fair price.

Equipment repair

Extremely honest, educational, and more than reasonably priced.

Andrew and Josh provided rapid, professional solutions to checking pump pressure and eventually pump replacement. I am a loyal customer for life.

Equipment repair

He gave me honest advice when I tried to prime my old pump, and tried to save me money.

Ultimately it had to be replaced. He installed a new variable-speed pump with a three-year warranty, programmed the app for me and showed me how to use it. Now everything works great.

Frequently asked questions

My pump will not prime. Does it need replacing?

Not necessarily. Losing prime often means air is being drawn in on the suction side, which can be a fitting, a valve, a lid seal or a leak in the line rather than the pump itself. It is worth finding out before you buy a pump.

Is it worth repairing or should I replace?

It depends on the age of the unit, what has failed and what a replacement would cost to run. Variable-speed pumps in particular can pay back the difference over time. We will lay out both options rather than steer you.

Do you quote before starting work?

Always. You will know what the work is and what it costs before anything begins.

Can you work on equipment you did not install?

Yes. Most of what we repair was installed by somebody else.

How quickly can you get to a repair?

It depends on the week and the part. Call and describe the fault and we will be honest about timing rather than promise something we cannot hold to.

Do you handle freeze damage?

Yes, and North Texas produces plenty of it. If a freeze is coming and you are not sure how to shut down safely, call us.
